How long can molluscum contagiosum stay on a wetsuit?

the last time I wore the suit was 4/17 and it ripped in a couple of spots that day. seeing as how the suit is only 4 months old I'm sending it in to get repaired. I had molluscum while wearing it do I need to wash it or is whatever might have been on the wetsuit dead and gone by now?
