Best wetsuit to surf summer in Southern Maine?

Moving to Maine, planning on taking some lessons, but wondering what I should be looking for so I can tell what kind of shock to the wallet I'll be in for should I decide to stick with it. I'm sure they'll tell me when I take lessons, but like I said, I just want to plan. I found some good prices on Roxy, but have heard mixed reviews on their quality. I'm not looking for pro-quality, as that's pretty much out of my price-range, but something to wear so I won't freeze my rear off in arctic oceanic waters. ; )
