VISA problems help asap!?

right,hi guys...my sisters husband hes from abroad(cochin/kerala) he has applied for settlement visa he applied at JAN got in march sayin you need something else to the form..he has got it today again saying..'prosesed application delivered to blue dart(an agency) on 16/06/11 ...AWB no* transit' something like this anyway and hmm last time he got the same message aswell..anyway he should get the results by SAT/SUN and hmm we really want him to get here!..anyuway my questions is which type of visa needs medical check up?....please do feel free to share your opinions and caring words to!:)..nothing rude!..thank you!:).. btw this is from uk..
